A fortnight of events in June/July each year, finishing with a grand Saturday Carnival Day and Fete in Pill Parks field followed by music into the night up at the Cottage Inn.
The Festival Committe arranges entertainment for all ages and for the past 20 years has run an annual scarecrow competition on a different theme each year. The theme for 2019 was "Pirates". As a break from scarecrows in 2020, the theme is to be "Flower Power", with prizes for hanging baskets, window-boxes and front gardens.
There are also events arranged through the year such as the Halloween Disco and Santa on the Green. Watch the Facebook page for news!
Could you be a volunteer? Either at the planning stage or by helping at the events – or both? We’d be grateful for your help.

An eclectic festival of literature, art and music in a charming village on the banks of the Cleddau, Pembrokeshire. With writing and art workshops and delicious local food, there's fun for all the family.
The 2021 festival, due to be held in August, has unfortunately been cancelled. It is hoped that the festival will be able to return in August 2022.
First suggested in 1999 as a fundraiser for the forthcoming Millennium celebrations in the village, the annual Scarecrow Competition really took off, with over 150 entries in the first year.
Past categories have included 'Maritime', 'D-Day', 'Cartoons and Comic Strips', 'Nursery Rhymes', 'Hollywood' and more recently 'Circus' and 'Rock and Pop Stars'. The theme for 2019 was 'Pirates'.
