The Llangwm R.F.C is a well established and thriving club with rugby having been played in the village since 1885.

The club has an extremely proud and renowned history with previous teams competing successfully in the West of Llanelli League and dominating Pembrokeshire rugby in the 1950's and 1960's.  Representative honours at the club have gone to Maurice Palmer - Welsh Schools, John Brock - Welsh Youth and more recently Andrew George - Welsh Schools. The club has also had the honour of Osmonde John, O.B.E. becoming president of the W.R.U. in 1981-82.

The club currently has a 1st XV competing in the national league, Division 3 West A.

The club is always looking for additional players, coaches, and others to help and become involved in the life of the Club. It is an amenity well used and enjoyed by the greater community.

The clubhouse is open before and after matches, for all Wales international games, and special events like Music Night, Junior Awards, Literary Festival and private functions.
