Polish Tour

15th - 22nd July 2019

Llangwm’s male choral group Wrong Direction together with wives and friends (26 altogether) went on tour to Poland between 15th and 22nd July 2019.

After two very pleasant days in Gdansk the party travelled to the town of Malbork, the location of the magnificent 13th century Malbork Castle – a UNESCO world heritage site and the world’s largest brick-built castle.

Wrong Direction sang at various venues during their visit as part of the town’s famous annual medieval festival centred in and around the castle.

Llangwm’s hosts were Malbork-based vocal and musical group Amber Chant who had visited Llangwm during the summer of 2018.

It is hoped that this special bond of friendship will prevail with further visits in future years.
