WW1 - A Village at War (Posted 06/08/2018)

Llangwm's opera 'WW1- a Village at War' is making a final performance at The Follies Theatre, Narberth on Saturday 10th November. This will include an adapted script, orchestra and a newly created film as the backdrop. Tickets go on sale TODAY. They are available from the Torch Theatre and Cleddau Stores in Llangwm. Prices are £12 for adults, £6 for children under 16. Please come and support this award-winning production. All money raised will go to the charity S.S.A.F.A.

W. G. Thomas - Some Remarkable People of Llangwm and Hook

The book is now available, priced £5, from Cleddau Stores in Llangwm, and Victoria Books in Haverforwest. The book will also be available at Llangwm Literary Festival, Friday 10th - Sunday 12th August.

Book Launch - Wednesday 1st August

Llangwm Local History Society will be launching 'Some Remarkable People of Llangwm and Hook', by the late Llangwm historian W. G. Thomas, at 7:30pm. The event will include a talk by local historian Dr Simon Hancock, and an exhibition of some aspects of Llangwm's history. All welcome.

Llangwm Photography Club - Tuesday 31st July

The next meeting of the Llangwm Photography Club will be held at the Cottage Inn on the above date at 7:30pm. All abilities welcome.

Llangwm Carnival - Saturday 14th July

The Royal Visit - Tuesday 3rd July

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Cleddau estuary community of Llangwm and celebrate their rich community spirit. TRH will meet local groups around the village and witness the village's attempt at baking the world's largest Welsh Cake. Llangwm Methodist Chapel, Main St, Llangwm, Haverfordwest, SA62 4HS.
